Useful Wall Screensavers

I use them a lot and they are great for saving my walls. No more nail holes and if you follow the instructions the paint won't peel off. A few suggestions for those new to this so you can benefit from my trial and error: 1. Make sure the surface to be painted is clean, especially the kitchen walls which can leave invisible marks with normal cooking. Otherwise, adhesion problems may arise over time.2. Choose a less humid day to hang them. If this is not possible, wipe the surface thoroughly with a damp cloth and then air it for a while until it is completely dry. If possible, keep the fan on during application.3. Use more than you think you need based on the packaging suggestion. I usually use two pairs of strips (top and bottom) for anything 8x10 or larger, or anything of any weight. The extra strip might be more than you need, but trust me, you don't want less than what you need when your cherished portrait falls to the ground. Luckily in all the time I've used these strips, this has only happened once. These strips are pretty strong.4. Hanging items can be easier if you first press the strips together, then stick the sticky sides to the item you are hanging, and finally to the surface you are hanging the item on. A small bubble level on your picture/subject gives a nice even look.4. To remove, pull the tab and apply light pressure to the strip and hold it on the application area. This reduces the chance of a piece of paint coming off. Overall this is a great and very useful product that will allow you to hang and change your favorite decor without damaging your walls. Highly recommended.
