These are ideal cotton wicks for use in various simple oil lamps from Hebrew and Roman lamps to Indian diya lamps. I use them with old sushi dip bowls filled with olive oil. This small amount of oil will last 4-6 hours depending on the size of the flame. Even if you trim the wick once a day, a wick will last a long time.
