It works perfectly over the wire but constantly reconnects to the PC every 5 to 15 minutes. I saw this issue with several people and attempted numerous remedies. I disconnected and reconnected it, switched the included batteries for rechargeable ones, updated the gamepad firmware, the bluetooth driver on the PC, and Windows. I also tried disabling the energy efficiency mode, the nvidia overlay, and all the checkboxes in Steam that might have an impact on the gamepad's functionality, but none of these actions had any effect. I initially believed my bluetooth adapter was the issue, but connecting a mouse, headphones, or controller over bluetooth works just fine (I typically use a mouse and headphones when connected via a radio channel). I don't having the console, thus I can't check the work there. Reinstalling Windows from scratch would help, I'm thinking.
