These brackets are identical to the Clover brackets. I read in some reviews that clips are too difficult to open. I gave them a try anyway and am very happy with what I did. Not a single one in the batch was broken or difficult to open. The clips are a perfect fit, that's the whole point! Clips are used to hold layers of fabric together and need to stay in place while sewing. So yes, they're firm, but no harder than Clover clamps. The clamps are supplied in a large plastic box with a strong clasp. I highly recommend these brackets! I have Clover clips and I don't see any difference at all. Same size, not skinny at all and not too tight. Excellent quality! Also a great seller!
