Daughter bought this pattern just to use the coat as a costume. She dressed up as a spider for the school play and was meant to have a steampunk vibe. As she is only 13 years old and not tall, she had to shorten the pattern a bit to fit her. Otherwise there were no problems. She had no trouble following the instructions as she sewed it herself and it was ready in about 2 days.
