Review on Draw Tite 40332 Forged Mount Length by Kelly Noonan

This ball joint does not fit snugly in the receiver, there is play and this is noticeable when the ball joint is not heavy. Probably less than about 1/16 to 5/64 of an inch. However, this mount easily handles an 8,500-pound flatbed trailer without adverse towing difficulties. Made a 1200 mile trip, emptying a trailer half way and loading the other half. The game is noticeable in the unloaded state, and not loaded. Plan to use the Gator type coating used on truck bodies to reduce movement. The pin holds the mount firmly to the receiver and the ball fits snugly with no play/movement. This mount is mounted on a 12,000 pound receiver, so this mount is 4,000 pounds taller than my truck. The mount has a specific drop as specified in the specs, which keeps my flat platform level under heavy loads. Good quality for the price, I would buy again.
