I am extremely disappointed in this RAM. I had intermittent problems with my mid 2012 Macbook Pro for 12 months and found that the memory I bought 18 months ago had failed. The problems started small as the Mac crashed maybe once a week. Ever since I upgraded to High Sierra I assumed these were issues with the new IOS. The crashing and freezing issue became more and more problematic over time and I tried everything from uninstalling apps to downgrading IOS. Nothing seemed to work. I recently discovered that the 16GB memory modules from A-Tech failed and crashed the system all the time. My product is no longer under warranty, so I don't see a way to get a refund or replacement. I recommend that you go for a better brand like Crucial if you are looking to upgrade. Don't waste your time and money with this product.
