I love salt lamps. I had one of the big, basic ones for a while before the light died, so as I came to look for a new, even cooler one that changed colors I found myself on this one. The price for it was pretty solid, and the reviews looked good as well so I went for it.It is not at all what I expected. It is tiny - mine is 5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide. The light is not bright at ALL. Mine is in my office and there are overheard lights, and while the other one I used to have was super bright and no question it is on, this one you can hardly tell. And when you can tell it’s on, you can still hardly see the light! It only lights up the bottom half, and one side really gets the light. That’s around 3/4 of the lamp doesn’t even give off light. Another minor inconvenience is that there’s no switch to turn on and off, you have to unplug to turn it off, and it doesn’t even come with a box to plug the usb into which I know it says it’s usb in the description, but still.Very disappointed and I would definitely have returned had I not already thrown the box away. I opened it and noticed it was small, but in my head that meant it probably would be even brighter as there was not as much area to light up. Boy, was I wrong.
