My son is 10 years old, about 4ft 8in and weighs 88lbs. We bought him a size 10 suit which fits him EXACTLY. If he were about 5 pounds heavier I would say this suit would be overkill. Look carefully, this is a really good buy for the price, but unfortunately it fell apart after the first use. The fastener on the pants has already fallen off, and one of the buttons on the jacket is hanging for life. Luckily the pants have a button so he can button them up. I was expecting the suit to come in crappy packaging and I would have to take it to the dry cleaner as soon as I received it. Pocket for suit wear and was actually good enough to be carried straight out of pocket or box. However, the dress shirt needed to be ironed.
