I wanted to mount my Zoom H1 on a boom mic stand for some solo recording, so I bought this. It was a very loose fit with all the mic heads I've had and I had a bit of a hard time getting it securely in place so I could position it exactly how I wanted it. But I was able to buy a spring-loaded mic head that solved this problem. I know I use it with my Rode Video MicGo but I had to buy an adapter to get it to fit properly. With the right parts, this little addition improves the usability of many products and is definitely a good buy if you're looking for versatility.
