Review on 🎨 Artistic Skin Tone Colored Pencils: 24 Oil-Based Set in Tin Box by Karla Richter

These pencils are wax or oil based and have a good shine. They are well shaded, do not leave a lot of crumbs when applied. There are 24 colors including lots of yellow and ochre, peach, brown and ochre, as well as blue, gray, purple and pink that you can use to create eyes and lips. And a white pencil that can be used both for the eyes and on dark paper and can also be used to mix with other colors. The color overlay was very rich and intense. About four coats and I had some sheen on the paper (I used an all-purpose drawing paper that Strathmore makes). If you like drawing portraits in pencil this set is just as good as the Lyra Skin Color set, in fact the colors are a bit softer than the Rembrandt Lyra so I like them better. I am very satisfied with the quality of these pens. However, I don't know anything about the lightfastness of the pencils, and that's a constant problem with pencils, so test them (cover half of the samples with black paper and leave the other half in the sun for a few months for archival or professional use work to use.)
