great tool. well thought through. Works great

$&@This product has a good design. there was a lot of thought. and I've had great results with these timers in a variety of applications (head bolts, intake, exhaust) but this is the first time I've tried using them on an oil pressure gauge. 1/8 npt. it was used on a 1987 Camaro iroc 350. The motor is built and is a complete reel motor with a number of high speed parts. also has a small large volume oil pump. I assembled the engine myself. The consumption is tpi and had to be removed to do the timing. it lasted several hours. Also, I used the Timert threadblocker, although I'd normally just use Loctite stuff, but thought it would work better with the Timert threadblocker. Oil is still leaking after assembly. I changed the 1/8 NPT adapter. I tried different oil sensors. still flows. but it is strange that it almost does not flow at idle. but I accelerated the engine to 2200 rpm and a lot of engine oil came out. I was really hoping this would fix it. Now the engine should get out of the car to try and fix this oil leak. The tool was so long that I cannot return it. I have owned this car for 20 years and thank the previous owner for breaking the engine oil pressure sensor adapter. he totally ruined it. Have worked on cars since the 1980's and have never seen an oil pressure thread go bad. The third try was a charm. I had to remove the timestamp and do it again. all steps followed correctly and everything cleaned very well. I also plug in the adapter and transmitter and leave it for 24 hours.
