With the caveat that I am HAZMAT certified in my workplace and trained in the correct use of PPE. I took them "just in case" for my home emergency supplies (although the situations in which I would use them are very unlikely). There are more durable A-grade suits (and B-grade suits too, by the way) - B-grade work suits are thicker/rubberized; while they are much thinner (to act as a barrier). Note - if you expect an environment with a lot of 'sharps', a more durable suit would be a better choice. But I think it's good value for a home emergency kit (chemical/biological/radiological) + tape + respirator + good gloves + boots. Like I said, it *really* helps if you're pre-trained.-- Update July 19, 2014 -- I've had the opportunity to use this along with my heavy-duty rubber work gloves, Israeli-made gas mask, and rubber work boots , glued together when I had to take out the yellow jacket nest when the scammers in the bathroom ate through my drywall and started breaking into our house. Size XL fit me very well, although when I bent over I ripped the back of my pants which I had to patch in a jiffy with lots of tape. This is NOT complete material for beekeepers, although I'm sure it will work for this application. Luckily the little bugs only stung my gloves and mask until they died from the spray.
