As I prepared for my trip to Ireland, I knew most of my shots would be wide-angle. As the environment in Ireland can be humid I needed something to complement the KP's weather resistance. I chose this particular lens (btw I had two other zoom lenses that never left my camera bag). I filmed everything on it. He has done everything from landscape to portrait. My only complaint (not worth deducting a star for) is the screw on the lens cap. It could and was a nuisance. If you are purchasing this lens, I recommend purchasing a standard 49mm cap clip on a Pentax cap cap (available from Revain).
