Low clamping voltage.

I can't rate it, just received it. Really good performance on paper. Nice low clamping voltage! I think they get a bad rap for people saying they stopped working when they should stop working to let you know they are no longer protecting. Other surge protectors continue to leak electricity and the user is unaware that they are no longer protecting. I bought this partly because I don't want it to know when it's time to replace it rather than keep using it. Line filters wear out and become unprotected line filters over time. I have been using this company for over 30 years. Always satisfied. I specifically chose it for its low clamping voltage and because hopefully it will stop supplying current when its protection is no longer sufficient. Not many surge protectors have such a low clamping voltage. Just a note, do not connect it to a modified or step-sine inverter or a modified or step-sine UPS. Surge protectors should only be used with pure sine wave (regular current or high-end inverter), they can confuse modified sine waves with repeated voltage surges and wear out very quickly.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to it
Cons
  • Almost everything is included
