I've needed corn cob holders for a long time, looked around a few times but didn't want to buy anything I've found before. They were all plastic and many of them came in ridiculously large sets. The handles are smooth and long and are easier to hold than regular little plastic things. And certainly more comfortable in the hand than new, albeit cute, oddly shaped. I have to admit that I don't actually get a chance to use them very often, but I have already recommended them to a family member who mentioned that they needed them but didn't like the plastic. I gave this 4 stars for durability only because I expect they will loosen or bend over time as not only are they a solid piece of metal but seem to be made well enough that I think that they will hold up very well with proper care. .
