My wife has mobility issues and often needs help getting up, showering etc. She is 83 years old and I am 85 years old. I have poor hearing and we have tried different ways of communicating when she needs help. We tried to whistle, but sometimes I couldn't hear it, or she was too weak to whistle loud enough. I figured a wireless doorbell could be better with a choice of tones that I can definitely hear. After reading reviews of several doorbells, I settled on the dual receiver AVANTEK because it was louder than the others, which were only 85 dB. I placed one in the living room next to my chair and the other at the end of the corridor next to the bedroom. She has a small pouch that she carries with a button inside.
