Review on 👖 Stylish and Comfortable Boys' Jogger Pants in Splendid Blue - Perfect for Kids by Kirk Womack

I've been a fan of the Splendid brand for a long time, but I only knew their women's and maternity clothes. I was expecting the joggers for these boys to be of the great quality I've come to expect from Splendid but I'm a bit disappointed. I ordered these joggers in a size 7 for my 5 year old son who wears a size 6. You are too small! They are more like a size 5 than a size 7. If you are looking to purchase this item I would go at least two sizes up. I am very sad that my son does not need them. Apart from the different size, the quality is not very good. Despite being a soft blend of 70% cotton and 30% viscose, they are very thin. The belt is nice and wide, stretches well, and the ties are non-functional and purely decorative. The seams are a bit messy, lots of loose threads and a crooked line. I love that the crotch has a gusset, it's a nice touch that allows for more freedom of movement than a standard crotch seam. the past was made in the USA. Not sure if all production is outsourced now or just the kids line. Moving to China might explain the drop in quality, although I see they still charge pretty high prices for their items! For the price I would not recommend these Splendid boys joggers. whether the entire production is now outsourced or just a children's line.
