We installed this door at the end of October. I didn't want it based on the reviews but after some work we installed it and it's amazing that my dogs can come and go and I don't open the main door. I think I've already saved a little on heating. The double flaps keep the cold out and seal very well. I never felt a draft of air around him. Even with this arctic single digit weather blast for 2 weeks straight it's opening and closing and closing tight. I didn't have cold air around him. Family and friends have all commented on how effective and efficient it is. If we put one in a door with only one valve, it would let cold air in every time they used it! So glad we went with the door in the wall! Thanks for a great product!
