I bought this expecting what I got which is a fairly cheap divider set. They are difficult for me to use because of the geometry of the points. In the pair I got the tips aren't exactly "pointed" and when you put the tips on a piece of wood the tips tend to ride on the side, not the tips. The edges are not particularly sharp. I might be able to get them working for my purposes if I spend some time polishing the points to change the geometry. It was a cheap experiment that could probably be made to work with some effort. But don't feel like you're buying a pair of spacers that are as good as the vintage manufacturer's.
