The child likes it, but the helmet attachment doesn't fit properly or closes poorly with small tabs, like on the back of cheaper caps, but less secure. The pendant is only tightened at the front and back, the sides are fixed so that when tightened it takes on a square shape and does not stay put when only 2 tabs are put in. I can't make them small enough for a 3 year old but the helmet is sturdy. and good child size. Good for older boys or maybe when my daughter is closer to 5. The jacket is great but even my 3 year old knows how a megaphone is supposed to work and it just plays a siren, she still loves it. A fire extinguisher would be much better if it had a scope tube. Firefighters have hoses so just a 9 inch piece of rubber hose would do the magic for them so I'm going to change that.
