Trying to use this on a 10kw generator muffler to connect a galvanized pipe to the muffler outlet. After a 15 minute test, I found that the end that connected to the muffler began to melt and deform - so much that the clamp came loose and the hose fell off the muffler. The other end of this hose seemed fine. So if your temp is a bit lower than mine, this might work. Then I will try JB high temp welding and try to glue the threaded fitting.
