I use them in a 10 inch canister that feeds our whole house. We have a well in a very clayey area so we end up changing them about once a week or twice a month depending on how the sediment mixes with the rainy season. Now technically there is a pressure drop, BUT that's because we have a huge sediment load. There is no pressure drop during initial installation. I plan to install a pressure tank after our filter in the future to have a "reservoir" for that filter so it can be drained instead of using directly inline. still love her Especially since they sell them in such large quantities that we need because of the above.
