Flexible mounting options but not ideal for chest mount

I bought this flexible mount to shoot in portrait mode with my GoPro 8 via the chest strap. While I could technically get a portrait configuration, the GoPro's lens is off-center on the chest mount just enough to show up in the footage. Also, a lot of stuff is required to get this configuration, and it's pretty bulky and heavy compared to some other options. Weight is an important factor when using a chest strap. This thing sticks out a lot and is heavy, which can cause the video to tear. Also, the mount would be ideal for other applications that require flexible and secure positioning. The attachment is reliable and haptically very high quality.
