FOR 1. Wear them a little and they will mold to the shape of your feet and then become comfortable with no arch support.2. More like tennis shoes than water socks.3. Drains are good for what they are.4. Easy to put on and take off, but stick well when wet.5. Protector - durable, "sticky" and aggressive AGAINST: 1. Zero arch support.2. Not for coral migration, you might get stung.3. Sand enters and the boy is injured.4. I'm not sure I would "walk" in them without an arch. OTHER: 1. Stick to the beach, rocks, and you'll be fine.2. Again, NOT FOR A CORAL WALK.3. BUY if you want good beach shoes, wading shoes, etc.4. DO NOT BUY if you are looking for coral walking shoes or fishing shoes, they do not protect your feet and do not come with felt bottom.5. Haven't tried it on a boat but I think they will work but then you will come back without a bow brace and be on a fishing boat all day. In this case, buy deck shoes with support.
