I broke my leg about a month ago and my dad jokingly told me to get some old school rip pants, well he didn't know I already had the idea. I am a 5ft 3 inch woman weighing 150lbs and ordered a large to put on my leg and the waist was just what I expected for a small to medium size. I couldn't button all the buttons on the side with the splint but it fitted my good leg well - but then again I had already ordered a size up from my usual! Everything still fits almost right so no damage or foul - and I can still wear them if my foot heals and they fit me well! The color of the material is very light, it is a thin windproof material, but it seems to me that if I put on warm jogging pants, I could use them as winter pants. Good product, just runs small!
