This is a great laptop that unless you are a professional user you wouldn't consider it. Lenovo does good things and has excellent customer service. Keep this in mind as you spend money on your next computer. It comes preinstalled with Windows, so it's not a Chromebook at all. It is great! It is very light and takes up very little space. Pros: Good enough RAM for 90% of users. Those who need more, like video editors or heavy horsepower users, probably won't be looking at a lightweight laptop anyway. For what most people use most of the time on their computers, 16GB is enough. Tidy storage. Gone are the days of storing hundreds upon hundreds of movies, music, and other large files on a portable laptop. This NCMe SSD is very fast and can be upgraded if necessary! Good touch screen! In pad mode, as I call it, it's great. While the screen isn't the brightest, I don't see it as a major downside. No, this isn't a Macbook Pro Retina screen, but you can literally buy two of these for the same price as a Macbook Pro! To be honest, I love the touch aspects of this computer. Very seldom do I touch something that is misregistered. And you can use the "platform" aspect in both vertical and horizontal modes. Browsing sites like Facebook is MUCH cooler in the vertical aspect! The weight. Wow, that thing is easy! Thickness. See above, only thin! Fingerprint login. This is a game changer if you've never had a computer with it. I love it MUCH nicer than typing a password to wake it up from sleep. USB-C charging. SO PRETTY! I hate standard connectors (I'm looking at you HP) and being able to just plug it into a USB charger is great! You can even take a USB power bank with you to charge it on the go if needed. The keyboard is backlit. Sigh. Why don't all computer manufacturers understand this? Keyboards ONLY WITH BACKLIGHT! Come on guys, what are we even doing here?!? This is a great feature and works well on this Lenovo. Cons: Macfee software is already installed. This is garbage software. FIRST OF ALL, UNINSTALL THE Lenovo SOFTWARE. Not as bad as Macfee malware, but useless junk I could do without. Maybe a clean install? Consider a trackpad. approx. Not good. Actually pretty bad. So many missed clicks, inaccurate, and that's the worst thing about this laptop. Use a mouse or touchscreen, either works better. fans. You drink a lot. Sometimes for no apparent reason. I've tried playing a few games on it and while most of them have been fine, even the low-end games like Hoard have had fans turning on. This is not the case with video and web browsing. All in all, this is a great laptop for the money. I would recommend it to everyone. Oh! It comes with a digital pen. His. OK. I'm not an artist that I see as the primary pen user. I've tried it, it seems to work fine, but it's useless to me.
