[edit] I'm increasing my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars because the clock has been running for several weeks since the last battery change and it's still showing the correct time. Time. [Original Review] This is an exact replacement part for the haunted house grandfather clock sold by Disney, right down to the patent number in the battery compartment. When the mechanism in my watch broke, I ordered this one. Really easy exchange. The item itself is not the most durable so could have been packaged more carefully. On the back, at the bottom of the battery compartment, a small latch sticks out, which broke off because the part was simply thrown into a small box (the box with the product, NOT the Amazon shipping box) together with the hands. and some other hardware. I'm not exactly sure what the purpose of this little part is and probably wouldn't have even noticed it was missing if I hadn't seen it on the part it was supposed to replace and then found the broken part in the box would have. This can be done to prevent the pendulum from swinging too far, or to prevent the mechanism from being too close to the back or a wall so that the pendulum can still swing. Since none of these issues have occurred with my watch, I can't be sure. In terms of accuracy, I usually have to correct the time once or twice a week if it's a few minutes behind. So nothing radically radical, but it won't be the most reliable timekeeper. But if it starts *really* slow, chances are your battery is dead and not the watch's fault. a set of hands and a hook for hanging, and it was just what I needed to fix my watch without worrying about the fit. However, the durability, the less than perfect timing, and the carelessness with which it's packaged mean it's a 3-star device.
