Review on 🔌 J-Tech Digital HDMI Splitter 4K 60Hz 1X2 MRO with Downscale HDR HDR10 / Dolby Vision 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 HDCP2.3 2.2 (JTECH-4KSP2) by Robert Farrar

I tried several HDMI splitters and switches but none worked 100%. With most of them (even those claiming to be HDMI 2.0) I was only able to get 1080P output and no sound coming through the TV. I wanted my desktop computer to be able to connect to a monitor and a TV at the same time, so I could play games with a keyboard and mouse or a controller, depending on my mood and the game I'm playing. I really didn't care if they worked at the same time, but I couldn't find an HDMI switch that worked properly. Anyway, I have a 1080P monitor and a 4K TV that downscales the 4K image from the TV to my 1080P monitor. no lag, the only caveat is when you have HDR enabled, the colors on the monitor get weird, they appear washed out (the monitor doesn't support HDR), so I have to toggle HDR on and off in the windows settings, which I personally I'm fine. 4K 60 FPS works, HDR works and everything worked 100% right out of the box with no issues (except the HDR setting which I mentioned earlier. It doesn't look like it can capture and scale an HDR image. It's a non- HDR device and it looks correct but I really think this is a big nitpick I highly recommend this product!
