Review on 🚗 MTC 86337-60151: Toyota Land Cruiser Antenna Mast (1998-2007) - Genuine OEM Replacement by Matt White

OK was skeptical. I ordered a replacement antenna from the spare parts store. does not match as he wanted to replace the complete elevator unit, sent it back. I ordered that. looked like broken antennas we pulled out of a 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser. Tried to insert this but. A chip stuck out in the old antennas. it wasn't obvious. once pulled out with pliers. , then with lots of lithium spray lube (yes, yes) this one sets in perfectly. Requires one person to install antennas and one person in vehicle to turn radio on/off to raise/lower antennas. Several attempts are required to correctly position the sides of the cable. Great, it worked. Coat with lithium grease to prevent rust.JNW
