It seemed like I was searching endlessly for the right webcam mount. I used to use a gorillapod I had on hand. It worked, but that was enough. I replaced my old desk with a standing desk, trying to create a more usable desktop space (my study is in a small corner, so my desktop is 42 x 24). ). With that in mind, my goal was to glue everything to the edges and off the surface, so for the webcam I hooked up a gooseneck that pushes against the edge. The problem was that the gooseneck was too long and very stiff. it held up well, but it was a pain moving it back and forth in front of and behind my monitors. I saw it and got it. While it doesn't fit my only "off-desktop" purpose because it has a solid base and doesn't snap into place, it works because I can move it into place when needed. When I don't need it, I can move it wherever I want (usually right behind the monitors). I'll take care of the exchange.
