Imitation of other good reviews. This is a high quality, well made clasp with a significant weight. I use it on the front double doors of the house to add some security to an existing door knob lock. The screws that come with the kit are pretty flimsy, but they'll do the trick in most cases. Since I use a deadbolt to secure my front door, I bought some old #9 x 1 inch brass screws at a local hardware store. I had to drill some holes in the latch to use the #9 screws, but it was worth it (I know it takes a lot of effort to use this latch).
