This travel advisor is easy to install, plus and minus cables included. Plug them into a power source and you're live. (I connected mine to a power port adapter.) There are some quirky things about it, though. The control panel works great but seems a little cheap (the price is right) but there is no way to install it. No screw holes, no bracket, no double-sided tape, nothing, just a black plastic box. I used silicone to "glue" it to the dashboard. There are a couple of slotted screws and nuts on the back of the Traffic Advisor panel for something, but I have no idea what it's for as there's no documentation for it. I simply removed the end cap and pulled it out. There were also a few bags of screws for anything. but i have no idea what. I also bought a 10 foot extension and needed it for a full size double cab pickup to mount a light on my headache rack and route the controller inside. This is a great product, it's not too difficult to figure out how to install, but you'll have to figure it out yourself.
