You get what you pay for. These lamps are cheap because they are cheap. My main gripe is the design: the center column in the bulb casts quite a heavy shadow, so you get a nice vertical band of shadow on whatever surface the light hits (like in a lampshade, on a wall, etc.). This is a bigger problem with these bulbs than similar Edison bulbs I've tried. This is partly because these bulbs have a more directional (less diffused) glow than other LEDs of a similar design. They also have a slightly longer delay than other LEDs, but all bulbs seem to have the same delay, which is good. At 800 lumens, they are slightly brighter than a conventional lamp. The color at 3000K seems correct.
