Didn't know how to play with this at first. I got this for my kids (and husband) who figured it out in no time. The battery life is exactly as stated in the instructions (between 10-15 minutes), the charging time is about 45 minutes to recharge an empty battery. It didn't damage the walls or knock anything off the shelves. It's very easy. If you don't know how to turn it on or turn it off, read the instructions.
