This jacket is very thin and light. I was so surprised at how THIN the material was I thought I made a huge mistake buying it for winter. It definitely looks a bit bulkier in the photos than it really is. But then I put it on and I don't know what NASA suit magic they use in the fabric to keep warm, but it's honestly as warm as the giant winter coat I have. It's 6 degrees Fahrenheit here today, 4 inches of snow on the ground, and I went outside and cleared the road, and this jacket kept me in a good mood the whole time.
