I am a dirty old cyclist who uses a Trek 8500 MTB Bike. I only ride 10-12 miles with the occasional run up to 20 miles. I've gained weight as I've gotten older, which makes sitting in the bike seat a bit uncomfortable (i.e. painful) on long rides. Gel lined cycling shorts help with this and the Baleaf shorts I bought fit perfectly. I bought a pair larger than usual because I wanted them to be comfortable. They are very stretchy and fit well. Their padding was as good as anything I've had before, and the pants themselves are thinner and lighter than others, but they work well in our southern heat. The sticky hems on the legs don't seem to hold up as well as other pants I've had, but that may be because I bought a size larger than usual. Basically, I like the pants. I bought two pairs because the price was reasonable.
