everything I expected and a little bit more

: So I can confirm the sides are wood inside. I don't know what exactly happened but one day I noticed that the edge of the wood had cut the fabric in the corner and the fabric unrolled pretty freely so the only thing I could think of was to glue it, but not before I checked it. They just cut out a square piece of thin plywood and wrapped it in fabric. Since they didn't round the corners, it's just waiting to eventually fall apart. It's just inevitable that a sharp corner will cut the fabric and then easily tear it. I still like this carrier but for durability I'll give it an F.------------------------------ Overall it does a very good impression good . I don't normally write positive reviews as I don't get any compensation but since I bought two different style organizers at the same time I thought I'd write up a comparison just in case I get robbed by some scum again and then me buy back. Why two bags? This one is mainly designed for the front seat, while the other, cheaper one, is for the back seat. Pros - I don't know what's under the fabric, but it doesn't look like cardboard. It flexes but is very rigid. However, most parts of the bag appear to be covered with a thin foam pad. This makes the bag very durable, but that's just for show. As far as I can see there is no benefit in padding the sides. - Tarpaulin around the container, including the bottom. Another cheaper container I bought has a vinyl liner on the bottom. is there a difference Probably not unless you go on that hike where it's easier to tear yourself up over the stuff underneath. - As with any other organizer, you have two panels that can be folded in to give it some shape and secure the bottom. The bag looks very sturdy but I don't know if I can carry 60lbs of groceries because nothing is double stitched including the handles. If it was double stitched it would probably cost more. Also, this organizer is quite heavy, so I'll just stick with my plastic collapsible box for regular grocery transport. - Metal handles. Much nicer to drive than straps. Again, they are not double stitched. - The lid is firm and folds in half for an added benefit. If you fold one side of the bag (e.g. for front seat use) you can use the lid to line the bottom or use it to seal everything you have in the bag or use it to lock and separate items. For example, I usually have a few things in the front seat that I throw in a bag, then I cover it with a lid and use the top for things like a hoodie, vest, etc needed storage items that might be the full length of the bag require. The other organizer I bought, and I suspect the most, doesn't have this feature. - Lid. That's why I chose this bag. The lid attaches with velcro on either side of the bag and the velcro runs the full length of the bag so the lid is fairly secure. I gave 5 stars because I like the overall looks and functionality and it's pretty much what I expected, but I do have a few cons Cons - Velcro on the bottom. I think for non-slip reasons, but I am not in favor of using such a velcro as it can tear the fabric of the seat and car carpets. - without straps. It has buckles to fold the bag but no straps to attach to a seat or anything. - There are two subsections. A simple piece of fabric with Velcro on the ends. It will work, but I'd rather have something stronger and am a bit surprised. They padded all the sides of the bag, although it's useless, but then the divider is just a piece of fabric? - not impressed with the mesh pockets. I was looking for pockets that could hold a water bottle or travel mug that don't fit in cup holders. They work for it, but they're not loose enough when you're driving. I can't put a water bottle in my pocket with both hands off the steering wheel. I can use other fabric bags, but hardly. Whatever the fabric is treated with, it has a strong odor. I suggest you open the shipping box outside and let it air out a bit before use. It also didn't include a material sheet, so there's no explanation as to what chemicals they used on the fabric. - buckles. This bag comes with buckles which I think should keep one or both sides folded when you fold it. Unfortunately, this design does not fold completely and does not hold the pages together. The Velcro strips inside the bag handle the folded sides better.
