Good product for the price. Reliable and efficient service. Fits and works well

Bought two of these to use on our travels. Overall we have had a good experience with this product and the seller. Here are the details - * Package arrived on time and was well packaged * Quality workmanship and a good fit for our vehicle (Subaru Outback) * We had some issues and contacted a customer service representative (details below). Fairly quick service.* Versatile and easy to install/use. We had a long journey ahead of us and booked this. The package arrived on time. There are two mounting brackets to ensure it fits your vehicle no matter the brand. We had to use the smaller of the two mounts and it barely pushed through. Be sure to use the supplied plastic drive tubes to stabilize the vibration of the device while driving. It has a fiddly socket that caused it to restart every time the power cord wobbled a bit. When the support team was contacted, they politely agreed and willingly refunded the price for one unit. Thinking we'd live with it on the go, we installed both devices by attaching cellophane tape to the delicate device. Unfortunately, the car charger (cigarette lighter power supply) for another device later stopped working on the way. So we swapped out a good car charger for a better one and only used one for the rest of the trip. I have yet to find out if we can get a replacement car charger for this. Since both units were working, we connected them as master-slave units, with one unit playing DVDs and also streaming audio to FM. Most of the time the sound was loud enough, but with some DVDs we found that the sound could be louder, especially with street noise. We tried the FM slave instead, but it was awfully quiet, almost inaudible. So we settled on the master, which transmits FM audio. The quirk of FM broadcasting is that when you travel you come across a city that is broadcasting on that frequency and you have to change frequencies quickly to find a free frequency. There is no way to select any frequency. There are few presets that you can broadcast on. If everyone in your town is busy - this is very bad for you, consider using other methods such as (provided ) for each device OR let the device play audio through its own speakers (which is not loud enough for a car ride, even if you lose sight of fidelity). With some DVDs playing at low volume, we had to turn up the volume in our car, but when we had to turn off the engines, get out and back in, we heard deafening noise (due to the high volume). for car radios and DVD players must go through the download process). This is another quirk you have to put up with as the system cannot transmit any louder sound and FM transmission is inherently subject to static when not transmitting. We didn't use a USB source or an SD card, and we planned to, knowing that only DVD mode would allow for master-slave capabilities. We wanted to use the car's audio system for the sound (we don't like it when kids use headphones for too long). However, it will be useful to have this option. I would prefer these devices to also work with a USB/SD card source as a master-slave. Well, you get what you pay for and they share that information up front. Changing the DVD takes some getting used to. You flip the device over (which is easy enough), push the DVD cover back (also easy), and pop the cover open (which is fine). But now you have to loosen the DVD from the spindle which has two finger notches that aren't big enough and you have to pull the DVD really hard to loosen it from the spindle. No Child labor. I couldn't get my 7 year old to do it efficiently. I had to rely on my 11 year old to do it. But luckily, it's easy enough to assemble, assemble, and use. Pros: * Good value for money * High image quality * Aesthetic appearance * Versatility (enough). Play DVDs, SD cards, USB sources. * Lots of accessories (wireless and wired headphones, stereo cables, mounts, cases, etc.) * Stability (no wobbling) and no jumps/reboots with vibration while driving even on rough roads, especially when playing DVDs*. You can easily remove this device from your car and use the power adapter to watch movies at home/hotel as a personal device. / Away from car or car seats and too close (totally close) to children's face/eyes depending on seating position* Too many cables. One cable is for power, another for ISO wiring (AV out/in, fuse connectors) and another if you're using a stereo jack/audio cable. If you don't hide everything neatly, you'll trip and get confused * The volume on each audio output is too low for a car ride * Instructions are short
