This product works amazing. I will say that I probably should have gotten an extra hold because my hair is so thick and I have to use more than I probably need. That smells amazing! You can smell it easily throughout the day, especially when wearing a hat. And it's very easy to remove it in the shower. I use this lipstick for a 50's style side parting with a slight grouse, also with this hair, no problems. Like I said, I need a little more than necessary. It is based on beeswax and will make your hair sticky if you break it due to its styling. As you would expect from a lipstick. If you want dry and crunchy, head to Walmart and buy La Look Gel. I just won't keep buying it. This is my absolute favourite. And I've tried quite a few store-bought lipsticks.
