App and Bluetooth required. The app is intuitive and has many formats, fonts, images, photos, barcodes, spreadsheets, Excel, numbering, mirroring, multiple options, chain printing and more. It has measurement tools and an instant on-screen preview for each step. You no longer have to type to realize you made a mistake because you can't see the entire label. Sometimes my phone doesn't connect automatically and I have to manually select the bluetooth printer. The printer will beep when connected. I renamed it to be easy to find, not just B21 - lots of characters after that. Also, the app has the same name on the bottom, "Nimbot", so you don't have to guess which app controls it. I appreciate it a lot as I have many applications that I rarely use to control my devices. Sometimes I delete them not knowing what they are for and the product name doesn't even come close to matching the APP name. Thank you NIMBOT! There is also an option to save a file for labels that you will print frequently or that you have spent a lot of time creating. I can create labels on a website and save them and then print them out when I get back to the label printer if I didn't bring one. This little printer has no lag after pressing the print button, even from 40 feet away. I'm impressed with this little machine, I've run about 50 labels through it so far and they always come out clean, I haven't had to charge them yet. Label paper is made of plastic-like material. Not afraid of water and will not tear. So far, the adhesive has stuck to all materials, including sanded wood, paper, plastic, glass and cardboard. One thing I haven't found out is how many years is the expected lifespan of Nimbot brand thermal labels and if they can be exposed to heat or sun. I will ask and hopefully they will answer in the "Questions" section of the list. It's a great machine and a well-executed application. Hope that was helpful, thanks!
