I had an old Bontrager pannier that was showing its age. I prefer it in many ways aside from the velcro straps that keep it in place. The straps in the middle are too hampered by efficient use, and those on the corners are too long and could use a little more durability. The bag is definitely not bad. It's well made, stretches to hold quite a bit to be honest, looks good, and once you've worked out the straps sit on the counter pretty well even with the panniers extended. And I even like the top carry handle. This is definitely a good replacement for my aging suitcase. Small issues with the strap don't stop me from recommending it.
