Fits perfectly on the Assault Fitness Bike

Just what I need to adjust my iPad to the perfect viewing height when using the Assault Fitness Bike. The flex bar is stiff, which is good, and since it's a solid bar encased in a flex tube, I doubt it will soften over time. gooseneck length 26 inches; I think the product page says 30 inches but that would be the measurement to the top of the clip. It's just the right length for stiffness so it doesn't sway too much from the bike's vibrations. Note that the threads on the end of the gooseneck where you screw it into the clamp are aluminum and it will break easily if you don't align it carefully the first time you twist it. You have ONE chance to get it right; If you start with cross threads, you will mess up the threads as they are much softer than the steel clamp they screw into. Also, the plastic holder feels a bit flimsy, so be careful when expanding it to fit your device. It attaches to my iPad with the regular iPad case and seems to have enough spring strength to hold the iPad in portrait or landscape mode, but I'll probably only use it in landscape mode as it's most secure (with the clamp). hands at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock). In portrait mode, the clamp arms are at the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions and the device may slip out due to sufficient vibration or shock. I would never use a clamp as a lever to bend a gooseneck; it would split. I will use my hands to carefully adjust the gooseneck if necessary and it should take a long time. Great device for the price.
