The blade is best blunt in Sewing supplies and accessories
Not thrilled with this seam ripper. It's not very sharp and pulled the fabric threads on my satin weave, so I bought a new seam ripper. My old one was too blunt to cut the threads without pulling out the satin fibers. Also, I'm not happy with the size. It's a lot bigger than my old one and there's really no need for extra bulk (imo). I will save it as a backup and not send it back, but I have already bought a new one. Also, the plastic cover doesn't fit and stay put. I solved this problem by wrapping a small piece of tape around the top.
