Review on Zojirushi Thermal Carafe BHS-19SB - Brushed Stainless Steel for Enhanced SEO by Isaac Simpson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to use, keep warm

We outgrew our smaller Zojirushi by making 5 (actually measured) cups of coffee in the morning. The smaller one was just too small to fit everything in. Also, the smaller Zojirushi has a horrible plastic pop valve (you push on it to release liquid) that keeps getting stuck. We tried one of the stainless steel versions of the bottle but just didn't want to bother with pre-warming with hot water. We are very happy with this big Zojirushi. It's big enough to hold all the morning coffee we brew. This is a vacuum flask, so while you can preheat it, we don't think it's necessary. It keeps the coffee hot for as long as we need it. Please note that the vacuum flask is made of glass (inside, stainless steel product outside), so you may break it if you drop it on the floor for example. For lack of a better term I will say that the top is a labyrinthine system so the heat stays in but you just pour in and the liquid comes out. No fiddling with pressing the valve or opening the lid to drain the liquid. It's what we use every morning, so it's good that we're really happy with it.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
