These are very good quality sweat blankets for the money you pay. Not a smoker or a Traeger blanket that everyone seems to be using. This is to deflect sparks as well as some distraction and heat away from the flame for soldering etc. You want to spill liquid hot magma on them and write a review and say they're awful, then your man might break the anvil too. For fiberglass, this is a great ceiling. For serious weld sparks and flying spatter, I'd go to felt or leather and pay a lot more.
