Pros: + no noticeable odor for humans + they seemed to help calm a fearful kitty / relieve stress a bit? + definitely better price than similar brands Cons: - plugs with oils - must have an outlet close to anything that could catch fire and also out of reach of cats so they can't rub or bump against it - may be, works for my boys, maybe not? insufficiently perceptible effect. To be honest, I'm not sure how well any of this has worked for my boys. They are very bonded, but after a series of visits to the vet trying to figure out what's wrong with them and discovering that they are both special needs (different needs) cats, their relationship isn't the same anymore. as she once was. They still definitely bond and love each other, but they fight more and more often, and it turns from play to meanness. I tried Feliway multicat first but it didn't seem to have any effect or maybe make it a little worse? I also tried Sentry Multicat and no effect. Maybe it made things a little bit better - or, as in Feliway's case, other environmental factors led to a little more or less stress. I can say that there is no immediate noticeable effect. Maybe I'd try them again and try to log the interactions say 2 months before use, 2 months of use and try to compare but right now it's just not worth the money for our situation. I'm also suspicious of plug-ins of any kind, I have an outlet that's best for that - no cat access, busy location, nothing flammable around - but I'm still worried that the curtain from the nearest window might snag it also is Close for comfort (about 10 inches and I wish it was over a foot even if I turn it off when I have my window open). However, I've heard other people's great success stories with all three brands, so maybe it's more cat to cat.
