As good as OEM

My Corolla is 18 years old and has done 285,000 miles (and counting). During those years I lost my cap twice. If you're reading this, you've probably replaced one of these before. In that case, you know you have two main choices. 1) Buy it direct from a Toyota dealership and pay around $75 (it's been a few years since I got the price) or 2) you can look around junkyards/junkyards and IF you can find one (because they're getting harder and harder to find), you can probably buy it for around $30. This was the method I used the last time I needed a replacement. So last week I lost one for the 3rd time. I saw them here once and told myself if I ever need to replace one I'll try it. So I ordered a set of 4 caps from Prime and received them in 2 days. I installed it in 2 minutes and I want to address a couple of points. 1 - These hats look amazing. I put on all four and the look of my car changed from day to day. At least 2 hats I've worn before were original 1995 so you can imagine they didn't look the best. They will instantly spruce up your old Corolla.2 - I was skeptical about buying them. I thought for the price I would get quality on par with those cheap hubcaps you see at Wally-World and local Auto Zone/Advance stores. Boy was I wrong. Their durability is *slightly* less than OEM. But this line is very thin. Feel very durable.3 - The fit is tighter than OEM. When I removed the old OEM plugs I literally just used my index finger to remove them. I don't know if it's because they are 18 and lose their seal after those years or something but after I installed a new set of 4 caps they were very very tight. I tried prying with a few fingers and got nowhere. I don't see them "fly away" under normal circumstances. Conclusion: For the price, you really can't go wrong. Even if you lose one or a crack, a set of 4 is under $25 and you can replace all 4 at once. Which also leaves you with 3 extra. Highly recommended.
