The description of the item suggests the possibility of lowering or raising the height by adjusting the three legs and then locking them. That's totally wrong. There is only one position, and that is with all three legs fully apart. The legs do not have a locking mechanism. To make matters worse, the top hinge, where you attach the camera and then press the side button to select the shooting angle, is too loose and can't be tightened. There is no lock as stated in the description. It can hold a tiny point and shoot at an angle, but that's about it. I bought based on photos showing a DSLR with telephoto support. These were clearly fakes. After all, there are no instructions.
