Works well. If you install it face down under a cabinet, the motion sensor seems to work better if you have the switch end on the left and the charging port on the right. You can improve performance by placing a reflector at a 45° angle below the sensor. I folded a small shiny metal rectangle into this shape [and bent the bottom at a 45 degree angle. This part simply sits on top of the light and is held in place by built-in magnets. Also, due to the light sensor, the room needs to be almost completely dark for this to work. A design improvement would be to place the sensor on a ball joint so you can point it in the best direction for your mounting position. I know you can ask a lot for this price, but it's pretty basic. Cosmetically, I think it would be better with white plastic ends than the darker grey, especially considering this is going to be placed in cupboards and cupboards that are typically white. All in all I would recommend this item.
